The iNARTE Examinations Preparation Tutorial is a recommended Workshop for all who register to take the iNARTE Certification Examinations on Thursday, May 2011, and will also be of value to those anyone interested in validating their expertise as an EMC or ESD professional. This year we plan to offer two Certification examinations, both are eight-hour examination for EMC Engineers or ESD Engineers. At the Workshop we will advise attendees as to the iNARTE certification process, and the format of our examinations. We will discuss the best approach to ensure success and provide some working examples of typical exam questions. There will also be presentations from two iNARTE regional Partners in Korea, RAPA and CORE Insight Inc. RAPA will discuss their EMC education and assistance programs and CORE will present their ESD programs. The last two hours of the Workshop will be devoted to a trial examination paper, were we will pose 24 typical questions. All attendees are invited to bring reference materials and laptop computers if planning to take this trial examination. There is no cost involved to take this trial exam.

The iNARTE Certification Examinations will be held at the Jeju Oriental Hotel, (just 300m from the Ramada) from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This is an ideal time and place to take the open book Examination element of our Certification process. The Exams for EMC Engineer and ESD Engineers will run concurrently. Each is a two-part paper, and each part is scheduled to run for four hours with an optional one–hour break at lunchtime. Examinees may bring any reference materials and a PC to the examination room. We do not guarantee to provide either mains power or wireless Internet access, but if it is available, it may be used.

iNARTE will be at an Exhibition Booth each day, together with representatives from both RAPA and CORE. We invite all our members and anyone interested in learning more about iNARTE and our Certification programs to come and visit us there. You can register for any of the Thursday Examinations at our Booth, if you have not previously registered. We will also have on display, and for purchase, books and CD's that may be used as Study Guides for the Examinations.
